The Sanford Sewerage District is a large wastewater treatment facility friendly to birds and birders.  Learn to appreciate how this necessary process provides food and shelter to an abundance of wildlife.  Ducks, wading birds, raptors, shorebirds, swallows, and more frequent this site in fall migration in surprising numbers.
